Mrs. Farrar is survived by five daughters, Emma Wilkerson of Halifax, Rosa Dunkley of Arlington, Lucy Penick of North Carolina, Laura Venable and husband John Henry of South Boston and Cluster Davies and husband Darrell of Upper Marlboro, Md., a son: Howard Harris of Nathalie; 38 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Ennis Harris of Fredericksburg; two sisters-in-law, Alice Harris of Alexandria and Janice Farrar of Nathalie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Earl Rudolph Harris; three brothers, James, Wilson and Carl Harris and a sister, Laura Randall.
A funeral will be Friday, March 29 at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Nathalie, with Rev. James E. Traynham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the residence, 1057 Lower Liberty Road, Nathalie. Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax.
Funeral services are by Jeffress Funeral Home.
