Elizabeth Ann Lester was born on June 22, 1941 to the late Charlie Osborne and Elizabeth Ruth Barnes. On Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 she entered eternal rest at her residence.

She received her education in the Mecklenburg County Public School System.

She was a lifelong member of Cedar Grove 1 and remained a faithful member until her health declined.
She was joined in in holy matrimony to Abraham Lester whom preceded her in death. To this union five children were born.

She was employed by Russell Stover Candies for many years, never missing a day and receiving a certificate for those accomplishments.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Isiah Lee Osborne, Matthew Osborne (Annette), Charles Edward Osborne, Michael Osborne, Louis Leo Lester all of Clarksville, Virginia; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters: Esther Walker of Clarksville, Annie Osborne of Washington, DC, Daile Mosley of Chase City, and Margarrettus Walker of Richmond, one brother: Wallace Osborne; a devoted niece Juanita and host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church 1.

Services were entrusted to Carter’s Funeral Home, Clarksville.
