Elizabeth Fogle Conner, 71, of South Boston died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017. She was born in Halifax County on July 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Eldred Elwood Fogle and the late Betty Bane Fogle. She was married to the late Thomas Blenton Conner and she was a member of First Baptist Church.

Ms. Conner is survived by a sister, Sandra Fogle Coburn and husband Gene of Louisville, Ky., and a significant other, Tyrone Powell of Halifax.

A funeral was held Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Bob Ballance officiating. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
