Eugenia Williams Hill, 72, of South Boston, died Friday, June 19, 2020 at her home. She was born in Halifax County on May 3, 1948, daughter of the late Robert Williams and Lillie Traynham Williams. She was a member of Sunflower Baptist Church.

Ms. Williams is survived by four sons, Donald Williams (Jackie), Ronald Williams (Angela), Marcus Williams (Vecentia) and Thomas Williams; one daughter, Joyce Williams Thaxton; two step-children, Dawala and Milton Willis; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph Williams (Deloris), Marvin Williams (Edna) and Henry Williams (Yvonne); one sister, Adline Davis Smith and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters Elizabeth Traynham and Martha Lee Williams and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Friday, June 26, at 2 p.m. at Sunflower Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert M. Tucker, Jr. officiating.

Public viewing will be Thursday, June 25 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel.
