Obituaries Eva Mae Dixon FitzgeraldSoVaNow.com / April 26, 2010
After graduating from Halifax Training School, she left Halifax County to find a job. She retired from Walter Reed Army Hospital. Mrs. Fitzgerald is survived by her children, James Edward Fitzgerald Jr., Juanita Delois Kelly, Janice Muriel Fitzerald, Bruce Renee Fitzgerald, Md., Portia Newkirk, Aleesa Mae Mobley, Shree Marie Fitzgerald, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a son-in-law, and a sister, Virginia Maude Dixon Hightower of Halifax County, an aunt, Flossie Hendricks of Philadelphia, Pa., three uncles, Rev. Thomas Dixon of Vernon Hill, William and Robert Dixon of Philadelphia, nieces and nephews and cousins and a host of extensive family and friends. A funeral service was conducted on April 14 at St. Matthews Baptist Church in Williamstown, New Jersey. Burial followed in the Woodbury Memorial Park, Kings Highway, West Deptford, N.J. |
