Faye Porter Edmunds

Faye Porter Edmunds, 77, of South Boston, died April 17, 2013 at Sparrow Medical Center, Lansing, Mich. She was born in South Boston on April 30, 1935, daughter of the late Graham Parker and Dorothy S. Parker. She was married to John Henry Edmunds and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, John Q. Edmunds of Lansing, four daughters, Adrienne E. Bouldin and Kelva R. Edmunds-Waller, both of Richmond, Janet E. Williams of Pineville, N.C., and Terri Edmunds-Heard of Charlotte, N.C., two brothers, Graham B. Porter of Richmond and Algie Porter of Capital Heights, Md., other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Saturday, April 27, 1 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Chandler officiating.

The family will receive friends at 1304 Porter Lane, South Boston.

Memorials may be directed to Banister Senior Services, Inc., 1017 Bethel Road, Halifax, VA 24558.

Funeral arrangements are by Jeffress Funeral Home.
