Obituaries

Finch Lenwood Parker

Finch Lenwood Parker, 97, of Chase City, died March 23, 2014.

He was a retired employee with Daniel Oil Company, an Army veteran of WWII, and a member of American Legion Post 43.

He was the widower of Ella Mae Parker and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Mary Parker of Chase City, grandchildren, Sarah Parker and Nathan Parker, sister, Mary Mullins of Richmond.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of Tommy and Mary Parker.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Wood Funeral Service, is serving the family.
