Frances Allen Arnold

Frances Allen Arnold, 74, of South Boston, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was born in Halifax County on April 10, 1943, daughter of the late Nadie Eanes Fallen. She was a member of Hunting Creek Church.

Ms. Arnold is survived by one daughter, Wendy Arnold Shotwell and husband Jim Ray Shotwell II of South Boston; two sons, Brian Arnold of Richmond and Matt Arnold and wife Robin of Blairs; five grandchildren, Ben Arnold, Megan Fincher, Abby Arnold, Drew Russell and Carly Shotwell and special friend, Frankie Wilkerson.

She was preceded in death by one son, Scott Arnold.

Memorial services were held Saturday, April 7, at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd McClure officiating.
