Frank Tweedy

Frank Tweedy passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

A proud son of Dixie and Old Dominion (Altavista), he is survived by his loving daughter Heather Plemons (Chad), his two wonderful joys, granddaughters Erin and Lindsey Plemons, a sister Barbara, (Dr. J.A. Crowell) of Highpoint, N.C., niece Kelly C. Harris of Morehead City, N.C., nephew Jonathan Crowell of High Point, N.C., and their respective families.

A former computer systems professional and right-of-way acquisition agent, he was a Vietnam combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient while serving in his beloved United States Marine Corps.
