G. Clara Robins Rogers, 74, of Roxboro, N.C., died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. She was born in Richmond, a daughter of the late Clyde Leland Robins and Gertrude Lucille Underwood Robins.

Mrs. Rogers was a retired office manager for Clark Reproduction Furniture and was a member of Union Christian Church. Mrs. Rogers volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Durham and Life Choices of Roxboro.

Surviving are her husband, John Francis Rogers Sr. of the home; three children, Johnny Rogers (Teresa) of Roxboro, Julie Dunavant (Richard) of Halifax and Alice Major (Ben) of South Boston; one sister, Jessie R. Kline; five grandchildren, Lelan Marie Davidson (Mike), Morgan J. Rogers, Caitlyn B. Rogers, Benjamin Major and Callie Major; and five great-grandchildren, Macy Katherine Blanks, Morgan Paige Rogers, Sawyer Elizabeth Rogers, Sammy Rogers, and Simon Rogers.

Mrs. Rogers was also preceded in death by one grandson, Richard Easley Dunavant Jr. and two sisters, Margaret Tench and Iris Fenton.

A celebration of life was held Sunday, Dec. 24, from 2-4 p.m. at Union Christian Church.
