Harriett Fox of 2 River Road, Roosevelt Island, N.Y., died at Mount Sinai Hospital in Astoria, N.Y., on Saturday, July 6, 2013. She was born in South Boston on Dec. 28, 1919 and was 93 years old. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nannie Carter of South Boston. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Fox.
Mrs. Fox is survived by two daughters, Joan Fox and Jacqueline Fox-Bonney, four grandchildren, Lawanna, Abdul, Marsha`e and Jamel, and son-in-law, Frank Bonney.
A funeral was held Thursday, July 11 at the First Reformed Church of Astoria with Rev. Dwayne Jackson officiating. Benediction was given Friday, July 12 at Plainview Cemetery in Hicksville, N.Y.
