Helen Norton Bucknam

Helen Norton Bucknam, 83, of South Boston died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018. She was born in Farmville on Aug. 2, 1934, a daughter of the late Henry Norton and the late Mary Elizabeth Hurt. Helen was a graduate of Farmville High School and had worked at Wal-Mart, Belk and Lowes.

Mrs. Bucknam is survived by her daughter, Kim Bucknam of South Boston. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bucknam and son, Mark Travis Bucknam.

A private service will be held at a later date.
