Inez Hall Wallace, 98, of South Boston died Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Woodview Nursing Home. She was born June 29, 1912 in Halifax County, a daughter of the late Will and Minnie Hall. She was married to the late John Wallace and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

She is survived by two grandsons, Jeffrey Wallace and wife Judy and Alan Wallace and wife Pam, all of South Boston; four great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Jeremy Wallace, Sydney and William Wallace; one great-great-grandchild, Nolan Wallace. She was preceded in death by one son, William Jefferson “Willie Jeff” Wallace, seven brothers and sisters.

A funeral will be held Thursday, April 28 at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Don Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
