James Douglas Moseley Jr.

James Douglas Moseley Jr. “Sonny” passed away on Dec. 4, 2012.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Willie Gregory Moseley, his wife, Mary Alice Moseley and a daughter, Linda Ann.

James was a member of Jerusalem Temple UHC where James served as deacon, trustee and superintendent of the Bible church school.

James is survived by four children; James, III (Donella) of Midlothian, Doris of Richmond, Michael of South Hill and Ramona Richardson (Sherman) of the home; six grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Jonathan, Linda Ann, Sherman, Jr. and James Donald; one brother, David of Lynchburg, two sisters, Dorothy Tolbert (William) of Newark, N.J., and Christine Moseley-Marcy (Bob) of Lake Forest, Calif., one sister-in-law Alrene Moseley of East Orange, N.J., one brother-in-law Jordan Puryear (Vivian) of Annapolis, Md., two nieces, Dr. Tonja Gadsden and Clarice Moseley; one nephew David Moseley Jr. (Buddy); and a host of devoted cousins and friends.

Carter’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
