Joseph Fromal 83, of Chase City, died Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Fromal was born in Delaware on Sept. 10, 1936 to the late Joseph Fromal Sr. and Margaret Moulton Boyle Fromal. He attended First Baptist Church in Chase City. Mr. Fromal was a landfill attendant for Mecklenburg County, and a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching westerns, word search puzzles, and tinkering with and fixing things. He took great enjoyment with finding out how things worked.

Cherishing his memories are his granddaughter, Tiffany Lynch of Chase City, great-granddaughter, Katie Lynch of Chase City, two sisters, Mildred Wiedemer of California and Patricia Bates of Marmora, N.J.; devoted friend, Martin Jordan, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fromal was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Mae Fromal.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
