Joyce Marie Pulliam, 66, of Henrico and formerly of Boydton died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 at Henrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond.

Ms. Pulliam was born in Mecklenburg County on May 21, 1951 to the late Richard and Virginia Lee Baskerville. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County and was a member of Sheppard’s Heart Christian Fellowship. She was an employee at Goodwill Industries in Richmond.

Cherishing her memories are two daughters, Laura R. Davis of Pennsauken, N.J., and Virginia N. Pulliam of Manassas; one son, Dwight Pulliam (Carolyn) of LaCrosse; four grandchildren, India Hicks, Hunter Prophet, Terrance Evans and Myles Davis; one great-grandchild, Malachi Wilkins; two brothers, Robert Baskerville (Claudia) of Newport News and Jason Rex of Camden, N.J.; three sisters, Mary V. Tucker of Boydton, Jacqueline H. Coleman (Don) of Richmond and Ina Thompson (Ali) of Camden, N.J.; two aunts, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by two children, Charles T. Pulliam Jr. and Teresa Pulliam.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City with Rev. Tyrone Pulliam and Pastor Luther Archer Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery, Boydton.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, Sept. 1 from noon-7 p.m.
