June Faye Ratliff

June Faye Ratliff went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Ratliff Jr. “Buster”; and her daughter, Robin Jones and husband, Jon; two granddaughters, Janice Kate and Emma Jane Jones; a sister, Bernice Saunders; beloved nephews, Luther, Billy, Gary and Cleve; and cherished nieces, Sylvia, Gayle, Sherry and Brenda and their families.

June Faye was born in Halifax County and moved to Richmond in 1957. She dedicated her life to the Lord and the care and enjoyment of her family and friends. She loved to dance. June leaves behind her line dancing friends that she dearly loved. She was a bright light in the lives of the many people who knew and loved her. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, cards and calls.

The Woody Funeral Home in Midlothian handled the funeral arrangements which were held on Monday, Jan. 12.
