He was born in Chapel Hill, N.C., on June 14, 1963, a son of the late Samuel H. Chambers and. Nellie Alford Chambers.
He is survived by one sister, Prudence Chambers of South Boston; one brother, Samuel H. Chambers Jr. and wife Illora of Las Vegas, Nev., other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery, Chapel Hill.
The family will receive friends tonight from 5-6 p.m.
