Kenneth Wayne Langford

Kenneth Wayne Langford, age 81, of Chase City, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019. He was born April 18, 1937 in Mecklenburg County, and was the son of the late Sam Wesley Langford and the late Maggie Robbins Langford.

He graduated from Chase City High School and Danville Technical Institute. He was the owner and operator of Virginia Heights Body Shop.

Kenneth is survived by his brother, Ray Langford and wife, Cindy of Clarksville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen McAllister Langford.

A memorial service was held Friday, Feb. 1, at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation began one hour prior to the service.
