Kevin Lee Dawson

On Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 God called home a wonderful young man, Kevin Lee Dawson. He was the husband of Heidi Hudson Dawson.

Mr. Dawson was born in Halifax County on Dec. 20, 1967, the son of Walter Lee Dawson and Betty Jo Campbell Dawson of Nathalie. He attended Republican Grove United Methodist Church and was an employee of Carlbrook School, Vernon Hill.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Cody Dawson; and a daughter, Cortney Dawson, both of Nathalie; one sister, Kimberly D. Saunders (Kent); nephews Brandon and Travis Saunders, all of Nathalie; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including a special aunt and uncle M. E. and Dana Barksdale of Brookneal.

A funeral was held Friday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. at Republican Grove United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charlie Johnson and the Rev. Andrew Schulze. Interment followed in the Abbott Family Cemetery in Republican Grove.
