Larry Hillman Crews

Larry Hillman Crews of Nathalie died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville. He was born in Campbell County on Feb. 7, 1947 and was 65 at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Leonard Henry Crews Sr. and Sarah Cook Crews. He was a member of Ellis Creek Baptist Church.

Mr. Crews is survived by a brother, Bobby Crews of Halifax, two sisters, Diane Crews of Nathalie and Sylvia Crews of Scottsburg, two nieces, Sylvia Seamons of Scottsburg and Amy Davis of Halifax, a grand niece, Colby Seamons of Scottsburg, a special friend Billy Miller of Clarksville and two special cousins, Polly Kell and husband Junior of Nathalie and Carolyn Driskill and husband Bill of Randolph, and three special caregivers, Rose Seamster, Shirley Stevens and Teresa Anderson.

A funeral was held Sunday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at Ellis Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. W. D. Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family received friends at Powell Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Online condolences may be directed to http://www.powellfunerals.com.
