Lillie Walker Davis

Lillie Walker Davis, 90, of Skipwith, entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 11, 2013 at the home of her daughter Rosa in South Hill.

Mrs. Lillie Davis was born in Mecklenburg County and attended Mecklenburg County School System. She was joined in holy matrimony for 21 years to John Edward Davis Sr. and to this union five children were born. One son preceded her in death, Leroy Davis.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters Rosa Valentine of South Hill and Annie Morgan of Richmond, two sons John Davis Sr. of Clarksville and Larry Davis of Newport News. Eleven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held on Sunday May 29, at Harper’s Temple Sabbath Apostolic Church.

The family will greet friends at the chapel of Carter’s Funeral Home on Saturday May 18, from 6:30-8 p.m.

Arrangements entrusted to Carter’s Funeral Home.
