Obituaries Louise Wilkins Monette SheltonSoVaNow.com / April 12, 2010
Mrs. Shelton is survived by two sons, Robert W. Monette of Atlanta, and Dan C. Monette of Chesterfield and a brother, Bailey Wilkins of Amherst, 29 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, L. C. Monette and her second husband, J. W. Shelton and her parents, W.W. Wilkins Sr. and Eva Byerley Wilkins. A graveside service for Mrs. Shelton will be conducted on Monday, April 12 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church cemetery with Rev. R. A Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.
