Lucille Brewer Wagstaff / May 08, 2018

Lucille Brewer Wagstaff, age 93, of Chase City, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was born Oct. 17, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Harold and Mattie Jane Herrin Brewer. She was a long-time member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wagstaff is survived by her son, Cleveland G. Wagstaff III and wife, Mary; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Cleveland G. Wagstaff Jr.; two daughters, Carolyn W. Gross and Jane W. Miles; and one granddaughter, Cynthia Dawn Pearce. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12, at 3 p.m, at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to New Hope Baptist Church, 2526 New Hope Road, Skipwith, VA 23968.
