Margaret Graham Kyle Edmunds, 72, of Halifax County died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017. She was born in Lynchburg on June 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Paul Carrington Edmunds, III and Louise Easley Edmunds.

She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and was retired from United States Department of Veteran’s Affairs with honor, distinction and praise. She was also a member of the Halifax Woman’s Club.

She is survived by her siblings, William Carrington Edmunds and wife JoAnn of Spartansburg, S.C., Louise Gilmer Edmunds of Richmond, Paula Edmunds Eddington and husband Gordon of London, England, Henry Hurt Edmunds of Atlanta, Bee Edmunds Espy and husband Carl of Halifax, seven nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Susan Grimm officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
