Margaret Hazelwood Seamster

Margaret Hazelwood Seamster, 70, of Chase City, died July 20, 2017. She was the widow of David Michael Seamster. Margaret was a retired employee of Jones Apparel and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

She also volunteered at the Chase City Food Bank.

She is survived by her children, Judy Songer, Thomas Lewis, Bobby Lewis, Jackie Lewis, brothers, Ronald Hazelwood, Roger Hazelwood, Sam Hazelwood, sisters, Carrie Williams, Mary Newcomb, and nine grandchildren.

Services were held on Sunday, July 23, at 3 p.m. at Wood Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Public Fork Christian Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 311, Chase City, VA 23924.
