Marion Faulkner Mangler / June 14, 2018

Marion Faulkner Mangler, of Alton, died at her home on Sunday, June 10, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven, Conn., to the late Coley Goclowski and Walter Edward Faulkner and was married to the late David Ronald Mangler. Marion was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and grandma, who was always involved in their lives, she will be missed dearly.

Ms. Mangler is survived by her children, Catherine Christensen of Virginia, Roberta Delgobbo of Virginia, Robert Christensen Jr. of New York; stepson, David Mangler Jr. of Connecticut; grandchildren, John Mitchell of Connecticut, Jeremy Pulisciano of Alabama, Janet Abely of Massachusetts, Shawn Pulisciano of Connecticut, Richard Abely of Virginia, Robert Christensen III of New York, Robin Delgobbo of Virginia and Steven Delgobbo of Virginia; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Joy Quinn and Virginia Otto; brother, John Faulkner and a host of nieces and nephews.

Her daughter, Diana Pulisciano, stepdaughter, Dawn Parrion and sisters, Nancy Magnuson and Jane Yarrington, preceded her in death.

Services were held Wednesday, June 13 at 11 a.m. for family and friends at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Bryant officiating.

Family and friends are invited Saturday, June 16, to Beecher and Bennett, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, Conn., at 10 a.m. for viewing and 11 a.m. for graveside service at Hamden Plains Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, David.
