Mason David Snead

Mason David “Dave” Snead of 1177 Guill Town Road, Clover, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at the age of 76. Mr. Snead was born in Halifax County on Feb. 15, 1937 to the late Hugh Lee Snead and the late Marie Culley Snead and was married to the late Julia Tharpe Snead. Mr. Snead was a retired employee of Spaulding Lumber Company of Chase City.

Survivors include his brother, Gary L. Snead of Clover; special aunts: Ethel C. Everheart of Scottsburg, Iris C. Redd of Clover, and Lena Yancey of Henderson, N.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and a brother, Malcolm E. Snead.

At Mr. Snead’s request there will be no services.
