He was born on Sept. 23, 1951 to Catherine Gregory McPeters of Chase City, and the late J.C. McPeters Jr. Michael was a Virginia Tech graduate and enjoyed refinishing furniture.
He is survived by one brother, Gary McPeters and his wife, Patricia of Chase City.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Mike Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home.
