She was born in Mecklenburg County on Jan. 26, 1935 to the late Charles and Florence Crowe.
She is survived by her son, Charles H. Rockwell Jr. and his wife, Tammy of Clarksville; one sister, Joyce Wright of Bladenboro; three grandchildren, Brandon Rockwell, Amanda Sauls and Scottie Barham Jr.; and six great-grandchildren, Erin Rockwell, Jillian Weaver, Kayla Ferguson, Tristian Sauls, Sophia Pegram and Anthony Pegram.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Rockwell.
A funeral was held Friday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Rex Williams officiating. Interment followed at Woodland Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home.
