Nancy Louise Roberts

Nancy Louise Roberts, 62, of Lacrosse, and formerly of the Rehoboth community died Friday, March 2, 2018 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill.

Miss Roberts was born in Charlotte County, May 28, 1955 to the late Langston Roberts and Carrie Oliver. She attended the schools of Lunenburg County, and was a member of Mount Mitchell Baptist Church, Drakes Branch. Miss Roberts was a former employee of Harden Manufacturing, South Hill.

Cherishing her memories are a son, Shondel Roberts of Victoria, daughters, Aisha Roberts of South Hill and Kimberly Roberts of Chester, N.Y.; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brothers, Willie Oliver (Barbara) of Victoria, Lester Bacon (Janie) of Harriman, N.Y., and Hodges Bacon (Terri) of N.J.; devoted friends, Sara Davis of South Hill, and Lillian Jones of Lawrenceville, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

In addition to her parents, Miss Roberts was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Oliver.

A funeral will be held Friday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, with Rev. Sharon Baskerville delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Mount Mitchell Baptist church cemetery. Public viewing will Friday, March 9 from 10 a.m. until service time.
