She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church and a retired secretary with Sanders Heating and Plumbing.
She was the widow of James Sanders and is survived by her son, J. W. Sanders Jr. and her daughter, Lisa Huff, both of Clarksville, brothers, Thomas N. Snead of Drakes Branch, Gene N. Snead of Victoria, sisters, Rose Duckworth of Chase City, Bessie Strange of Baskerville, grandchildren, Jennifer Elliott, Michael Huff and Michele Huff, great grandchild, James Elliott.
A funeral was held Sunday at Union Chapel Baptist Church, Clarksville, with the Rev. Rodney Barwick officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, is serving the family.
