Norman Weldon Walton Sr.

Norman Weldon Walton, Sr. died March 5, 2014 in Lorton at the age of 75. Born in South Boston on Oct. 9, 1938 to the late Howard Walton and Catherine Walton, he was married to Sandra A. Walton and was a member of New Life Anointed Ministries International.

Mr. Walton is survived by his wife, Sandra A. Walton, two sons, Anthony Walton and wife, Vicki and Norman W. Walton Jr., a daughter, Naila F. Johnson and husband William, five grandchildren, Nickolas, Christopher, Amber, William and James, a brother, Levi Walton and wife, Gladys, two sisters, Amelia Hamilton and husband, Levi and Lucy Wade, two brothers-in-law, Sherman Harris and wife Deborah and Harold Harris, two sisters-in-law, Leada Barksdale and Nancy Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, James and Roscoe Walton Sr. and W. Wayne Paniel, two sisters, Flora Walton Gibson and Rosa W. Barber.

A funeral was held on Friday, March 14 at 10:30 a.m. at New Life Anointed Ministries International in Woodbridge with burial at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria.
