Patricia Deese Crews

Patricia Deese Crews of Nathalie died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Born in Bennettsville, S.C., on Sept. 4, 1938 she was 74 at the time of here death. She was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church and was a retired banker. She was also a member of the Clarksville Chapter 145 Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Crews is survived by her husband, Kenneth Nelson Crews of Nathalie, a daughter, Connie Crews Snead and husband Bruce of South Boston, three grandchildren, Erin Snead Anderson and husband Bruce of South Boston, Kimberly Anne Snead of Roanoke and Brad Michael Snead of Clover, a brother, Julian C. Deese Jr. and wife Sandra of Centralia, Wash.. She was preceded in death by a brother, Danny M. Deese.

A funeral mass will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Ellis Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. W. D. Mills conducting the service.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8:30 p..m. at Powell Funeral Home and at other times at her home.
