Quanta Nashall Chandler

Quanta Nashall Chandler, 33, formerly of Halifax County, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at VCU Medical Center, Richmond. She was born in South Boston on Jan. 18, 1984, a daughter of Anthony Featherston and Carolyn Chandler Featherson. She was employed as a LPN with Nurse Spring and with Henrico County Jail and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Richmond.
Ms. Chandler is survived by her mother, Carolyn Featherston of Halifax; her father, Anthony Featherston and wife Janette of Alton; three sisters, Carlisa Chandler and Natasha Morton and husband Kevin, all of South Boston, and Ashley Coleman of Richmond; two brothers, Eric Jones of Richmond and Darwon Russell of Ford; her grandmother, Catherine Chandler of Halifax; one niece, Emonee Chandler; a devoted father figure, James Larry Stephens of South Boston; godfather, James Jennings of South Boston; other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held Sunday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at The Church of God, South Boston, with Rev. Ray Craig officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public viewing one hour prior to service. The family will receive friends at 502 Cardinal Court, South Boston.
