Remona Pettus Bullock, 74, of Chase City, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Bullock was born in Mecklenburg County, on May 1, 1945 to the late Jeanette Oliver. She was a 1964 graduate of West End High School in Skipwith, and a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Mrs. Bullock was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, going to the beach, and watching Christmas movies.

She leaves to cherish many loving memories her husband, Phillip Bullock of Chase City, three daughters, Phyllis Bullock Eppes (Anthony) of Burkeville, LaWanda Ca'stle (Ezeakio) of Martinsville, and Crystal Dailey of Chase City, four grandchildren, Joseph-Anthony Eppes Jr., Nya Michelle Miles, Kayla Simone Eppes and Jalan Elizabeth Dailey; one sister, Phyllis Bullock of Virginia; six sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, with Elder Charles Anthony Bateman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Chase City.
