Richard Edward Gorby

Richard Edward “Dick” Gorby, 69, husband of Linda Whitehead Gorby, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at his home with his wife by his side.

Mr. Gorby was born April 12, 1944 in Salem, Ohio to the late Sherman Richard and Velma Mahon Gorby. He was a retired project manager with Chrysler Stamping.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Gorby is survived by his son, Kevin Gorby (Jayne) of Navarre, Fla.; daughters, Pam Gorby Seate (Chris) of Buffalo Junction, and Rebecca Gorby Macri (Steve) of Davidson, N.C.; and grandchildren, Jessica and Kyle Gorby, Alex, Connor and Ryan Bregant, and Nicholas and Aaron Macri. His brothers, George Gorby (Renee) of Clarksville, Greg Gorby (Nancy) of East Palestine, Ohio and sisters, Jane Beebe (Richard) of Canton, Ohio, Karen King of East Palestine, Ohio and Cathy Ross (Fran) of Negley, Ohio also survive.

The family received friends at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral HomeMonday, during which there was a moment of remembrance.
