Robert Lee Reese, age 90, of La Crosse, died Monday Dec. 18, 2017 in his home. Mr. Reese was a loving family man, an avid golfer, a member of New Hope Baptist Church, the owner and operator of Reese Motor Company, Inc. for over thirty years and a World War ll Army Veteran.

Mr. Reese is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Lucy of La Crosse; his daughter, Charlene R. Just and her husband Joe of La Crosse; his brother, Claude Reese of Midlothian; his two grandchildren: Scott Just and his wife Casey of Crozet, and Stacey Sengewalt and her husband Larry of Charlotte, N.C.; his four great-grandchildren: Spencer and Caroline Just and Jacob and Eva Sengewalt and many loving nieces and nephews including Jared Lucy.

Mr. Reese was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Annie Reese; his sister, Evelyn Reese and three brothers: Meredith, Victor and James Reese.

A funeral was held Friday Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment in La Crosse Cemetery with full American Legion Post 79 Military Honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 128, South Hill, VA 23970 or to the Southside Rescue Squad at P.O. Box 546, South Hill, VA 23970.
