Robert Leo Noblin, 79, of Clover died Thursday, June 27, 2019. He was born in Halifax County on April 10, 1940, son of the late Robert William Noblin and the late Oda Cassada Noblin. He was married to Catherine Clay Noblin, who survives. He was a member of Fork Baptist Church. He was a devoted Bible reader and loved hunting, and fishing with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Noblin is survived by two sons, Jerry Noblin and wife Cynthia of Louisville, Ky., and Stanley Noblin and wife Emily of Scottsburg; five grandchildren, Joshua Harris and wife Jessica of Semora, N.C., James Robert Noblin of Louisville, Ky., Heaven Noblin Inch and husband Matthew of Sierra Vista, Az., Sara Catherine Noblin and Leo Noblin; two great-granddaughters, Scarlett and Paytin; siblings, Sterlin Noblin and wife Edna of Blackstone, John Henry Noblin and wife Janice of Keysville, Peggy Jennings and husband Jerry of Red Oak and Connie Jenkins and husband Sammy of Boaz, Ala.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Olivia Grace Noblin and his sister, Joan Noblin.

Graveside services were held Sunday, June 30, 2 p.m. at Noblin Family Cemetery, home of Stanley Noblin, 7170 Clays Mill Road, Scottsburg with Rev. Aubrey Heath officiating.
