Obituaries

Rose Harris Pamplin

Rose Harris Pamplin of South Boston died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 in Richmond at the age of 81. Born in New York, N.Y. on Dec. 3, 1931, to the late Frank Harris and Anna Wilks Harris, she was married to the late Lee Pamplin.

Mrs. Pamplin is survived by two sons, Eric Pamplin and Mitchell Pamplin, both of New York, two daughters , Cheryl Pamplin and Lorraine Patterson, both of South Boston, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Harris of Manhattan, N.Y. and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery, Charlotte Courthouse.

The family is receiving friends at the residence, 340 Ferry Street, Apt. 100, South Boston. Funeral services are by Jeffress Funeral Home, 2000 N. Main Street, South Boston.
