Sarah Betty Dailey

Sarah Betty Dailey, 55, of Randolph, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston.


Miss Dailey was born in Charlotte County, on Feb. 24, 1964 to the late Inez Dailey. She attended Randolph-Henry High School, and was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak.


She leaves to cherish her memories a brother, Willie Dailey of Washington, DC; two sisters, Ellen Brown of Burtonsville, Md., and Irma Dailey of Red Oak, a devoted cousin, Susan A. Boyd of Red Oak, a sister-in-law, Karla Dailey, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

In addition to her mother, Miss Dailey was preceded in death by a brother, Berman Dailey.


A funeral will be held Saturday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, with Rev. Dr. James E. Scott Sr. and Rev. Phillip Staten officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
