Stephen Harris Drury, 66, of South Boston, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. He was born in Halifax County on March 26, 1954, son of the late Oscar Reid Drury Sr. and the late Ruby Brown Drury. Stephen graduated from Halifax County High School and Danville Community College. After college, he worked in retail and construction.

Mr. Drury is survived by his brother, Michael A. Drury of South Boston; sister-in-law, Betty Gravitt Drury of Albany, Ga., and niece, Ann Drury Dozier.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Reid Drury Jr.

Due to COVID, there will be a private family burial.
