Steven Allen Meade, 51, of Chase City, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017. He was born June 21, 1966 in HalifaxCounty, to the late Raymond Gene Meade and Linda Chapman Brewer. 

Steven is survived by his wife, Rhonda Meade; one son, Jason Allen Meade of Chase City; two daughters, Shelly Gail Meade of Chase City and Dolly Elizabeth Meade of Chase City; and seven grandchildren, Alexis Dodson, Chase Meade, Layne Farrar, Baileigh Youmans, Jayden Farrar, Kaleb Farrar, and Jayce Duffie. He is also survived by one brother, David Michael Meade; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Lewis Glenn Meade; and two sisters, Phyllis Meade and Wanda Meade. 

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m., at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel.
