Thomas Daniel Hickey

Thomas Daniel Hickey, 72, of South Boston died Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born in South Boston on April 12, 1945, son of the late James Charles Hickey Sr. and Miriam Dougherty Hickey. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, served in the United States Army and the National Guard for thirty-four years.

Mr. Hickey is survived by one brother, James Charles Hickey Jr. and wife Kaye of Richmond and nephews, James Charles Hickey, III and wife Kim of Pocatello, Idaho and Timothy Daniel Hickey and wife Liesi of Washington, DC.

A funeral will be held Thursday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Military Rites and Rev. Susan Grimm officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown, Pa., at a later date.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
