Thomas E. Harp Sr. of Vernon Hill, formerly of Richmond, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 19, 2010. He was born in Henderson, N.C. on Oct. 16, 1940 and was 69 years old at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Maurice G. Harp and Rosa O. Harp and was married to Linda L. Harp. He was retired from Estes Express.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Thomas E. Harp, Jr. of Richmond, David B. Harp and wife Jayne of Goochland and Steven L. Harp and wife Cynthia of Midlothian, a granddaughter, Tamara Jo Harp and his special companions, “Ernie” and “Pete.”

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 23 at 11 a.m. at Journey Christian Church, 3505 Old Hundred Road, South, Midlothian, VA 23112.
