Thomas Edward Fears, 51, of Halifax died Thursday, March 26, 2020. He was born in Fort Carson, Colo. on March 31, 1968. He was the son of Ann Baylous Fears and the late James Edwards Fears Jr. and was married to Kelly Satterfield Fears, who survives.

He was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church and he was also a member of Halifax Masonic Lodge 96. He helped coach Halifax/South Boston Dixie Softball and 3 G’s Softball Travel Team. Tom will be greatly missed by many.

Mr. Fears is survived by his wife, Kelly Satterfield Fears of Halifax; his daughter, Carol Ann Fears of Halifax; his mother, Ann Fears of Halifax, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
