Velcie Marie Looney Wynn

Velcie Marie Looney Wynn of Nathalie died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital.

She was born in Buchanan County on Oct. 29, 1952 and was 65 years old. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Henderson Looney and the late Joyce Lennie Fields Looney and was married to Ernie Wynn.

Mrs. Velcie Marie Looney Wynn is survived by her husband, Ernie Wynn, of Richlands; two sons, Kevin Wynn of Nathalie and Charles Wynn of Richlands; five grandchildren, Dylan Wynn, Brian Wynn, J. B. Wynn, Harrison Wynn and Tyler Wynn; one great-grandchild, Roselee Wynn; two brothers, Bobby Fields and wife Patricia of Nathalie and Bill Fields of Chillhowie.

She was preceded in death by one son, Eric Wynn.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Woody officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Powell Funeral Home.
