Mrs. Wright is survived by four daughters, Velvetta Wright Littles and Valerie Wright Waller and Mike, all of Nathalie, Vanessa Wright Cole and Mark of South Boston and Wendy Wright Beard of Halifax, a son, Berkley S. (Skeeter) Wright Jr. of Halifax, a daughter-in-law, Deborah DeJarnette Wright of Nathalie, three brothers, Emmerson Wade, Dean Wade and J. C. Wade, all of Altavista, 15 grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Vincen Wright and a brother, Larry Wade.
A memorial service for Mrs. Wright will be held at the First Baptist Church of Millstone on Saturday, March 30, at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating with Jimmy Midkiff presenting the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Family Life Center of the church and other times at her home.
