Wayne John Miller, 67, of Chesapeake died Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. He was born in St. Cloud, Md., Aug. 23, 1950, a son of the late Harold Paul Miller and Ruth Cigelske Miller. He was married to Doris M. Miller for 44 years and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Miller is survived by his brother, Leigh W. Fuller; three sisters, Ruth Ann Krueger, Lois Rieland and Nancy Winkelman; niece and nephew-in-law, Tammy and Richard Nebe Jr. and a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Roy Miller and Roy Robert Miller.

Memorial services will be held Monday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to service.
