Wilfred L. Liggon, 40, of Chase City, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017.

Mr. Liggon was born in South Boston,on November 21, 1977 to William L. Liggon Sr. and Carolyn H. Liggon. He was a 1995 graduate of Bluestone High School and a member of Wharton Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Liggon was previously employed by Russell Stover Candies and F-A Automotive Parts.

Cherishing his memories are his daughter, Ka’Naija Liggon; his parents, William L. Liggon Sr. and Carolyn H. Liggon; brother, William L. Liggon Jr.; devoted uncle, Sam Bouldin; his devoted “Pa”, James Speede; special friends, Tameka Stewart and Michelle Bouldin, and a vast number of other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and caring friends.

Mr. Liggon was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Alexander Liggon.

A funeral was held Sunday, Dec. 31, at Wharton Memorial Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. James A. Hudson officiating. Burial followed in Wharton Memorial Garden.

Public viewing was Saturday, Dec. 30 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
